MacDev are excited to announce the sponsorship of Californian icons HK Army for the 2008 and 2009 seasons. The guys from HK will be shooting the new MacDev Droids in 2008.

MacDev representative Bourke Grundy:

“We have watched the HK movement for a long time and always admired the team and the way they do things. We look forward to working with them to supply their equipment and help them to achieve their goals in the coming season. We are committed to serving up a HK graphic design on the Droid so that HK fans out there can show their support for HK on the field.”

The HK movement started at sc village corona California , then moved to hollywoodsports, then growing to other giant paintball parks, its now a worldwide movement with over a 1,000 members.

Giovanni Degidio: "As a park operator I am excited to see a local movement "hk army", go world wide. The 2008 season looks very promising as a young movement now becomes sponsored by an up and coming pro tournament gun company "MacDev." It should be a great year for all parties involved."

Scott Kressin: "I am so excited to be apart of the MacDev family, we will be representing them in a positive light, but what makes me so excited is now we will shoot a marker (Droid) that we believe make a difference in our game, and we know this marker has the advantage over all other pro markers on circuit"

After an ample test phase and intense talks with Silvio Defuns from MacDev Europe the contract has been signed: Vienna United will shoot the brand new Droid plus the Legion Air in 2008! Shortly after the team received the first test samples of the marker, it got convinced within a few games, concerning its superior quality and flawless performance.

“The final decision to become a MacDev team was made quite fast. My team felt in love with the marker immediately and since we have a very healthy relationship to MacDev Europe, we set up a contract and signed it right away. I'm very glad about the new partnership and also confident when I look forward to the upcoming season.” Said Wolfgang Kornholz, Owner & Manager of Vienna United.

“I've been friends with the players from Vienna United since a long time and it makes me very happy to welcome them on board. The team and the structure behind them is unique and together we are looking into a bright and successful future!”

Art Mendoza, whose team Miami Rage recently decided to play Droids too, has been a loyal friend and supporter of Vienna United said the following. "Vienna United is a great team and a great group of guys. It is no wonder why Miami Rage has been supporting them since the beginning of 2006. We welcome them to the MacDev Militia and MacDev is lucky to have them.”
